What you need to know

These days everyone has a digital camera but that doesn’t make everyone a wedding photographer. After twenty years of photographing weddings we consider ourselves “ wedding specialists” and we know that getting consistently good images requires a lot more than a new camera. One of the most important things we have learned is that relaxed and happy people look most natural in photographs.

For this reason we try to ensure that you really do enjoy your wedding day by discreetly organizing the photography, whilst running with the mood of the day. In other words we don't take over and boss you about!

We’ve always tried to mix contemporary images along with more traditional wedding pictures because
just as wedding fashions change so do wedding photography styles. Unfortunately what looks
“ funky” now may well look dated in 5 years and ridiculous in 20! A well made wedding album should be passed on to your grandchildren, so we will always try to provide modern images along with more traditional shots.

So whether you are planning a huge formal wedding day or a small registry office wedding, we can supply the images that best reflect the flavour of your wedding. And unlike many photographers we will only undertake one wedding per day, as this allows us plenty of time to work at a generally relaxed pace and deal with any unforeseen circumstances

We’ve taken Photographs at hundreds of weddings, so we know most of the Wedding Venues in Somerset. Where ever your ceremony takes place, chances are that we’ve been there before and know where all the best locations for your photos are. But although the country houses and hotels are getting ever more popular we still love photographing church weddings and there can’t be many churches left in Somerset that we haven’t worked at.
